Dr. Yedida Venkata Lakshmi is a dedicated academic leader with over 18 years of experience in Electronics and Communication Engineering. As the Head of the ECE Department at Rishi MS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, she contributes significantly to academic planning, faculty development, and strengthening the department’s research ecosystem. She has also played a crucial role in institutional quality processes, including NAAC accreditation and AICTE/FFC compliance.

Dr. Lakshmi holds a Ph.D. in ECE with her research centered on optimized ultra-wideband (UWB) indoor positioning technologies for wireless sensor networks. Her scholarly contributions include numerous publications in reputed international journals and conferences, covering areas such as UWB localization, wireless sensor networks, VLSI, embedded systems, and digital image processing. She has also authored several books and book chapters in emerging communication and electronics domains.
